i rly enjoy cooking!! so i figured i'd post some of my favorite recipes here :3
makes 1 cake
¾ cup sugar
½ cup butter
1 cup flour
⅓ cup lemon juice
⅔ cup milk
powdered sugar to decorate
|preheat your oven at 180°c (350°f).
in a bowl, mix the butter and sugar until just incorporated. after that add the eggs one by one and mix well. add in some vanilla extract as well.
add the flour bit by bit making sure to incorporate it but not to overmix. add in the milk, mix well and after that add the lemon juice.
pour the batter into a mold and bake at for 30 minutes. but as always ovens r built differently and id advice u keep an eye on it.
let cool and dust some powdered sugar over it. or add whatever u want into it
easy veggie pasta stir fry
makes 1 serving
half a carrot
half a zucchini
half a bell pepper
a lot of garlic
salt and pepper
pasta of ur choice (i use spaghetti but u can use anything u have! id recommend it to be a long type of pasta tho)
start making the pasta according to package instructions (some pastas r different so it's best u guide urself by the package instructions!)
while the pasta's cooking, chop all the veggies. slice the zucchini, cut the carrots into sticks and dice the onion and pepper. peel and cut the garlic into tiny pieces.
turn on the stove on medium-high heat and on a sauté pan (or a big skillet if u don't have one) put in some vegetable oil. when that's hot add in the veggies. add the onions and garlic first and when that turns into a golden color add in the rest of the veggies, cook until theyre soft. add in salt, pepper and butter, then stir one more time. add in some soy sauce and stir.
strain the pasta and toss it into the pan with the veggies. add more soy sauce, and salt if needed. stir quickly to incorporate everything together and serve.
makes 1 cake
1 cup sugar
½ cup sunflower oil
1 cup flour
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 cups shredded carrots
crack two eggs in a large bowl and add in the sugar. start mixing till the mixture gets fluffy and its color becomes a light yellow. add in the oil and vanilla extract and keep mixing. add the flour and cinnamon bit by bit and mix until just incorporated. be careful not to overmix tho or the texture will get screwed up!!!! then add in the carrots.
(optionally, at this point u can add stuff like raisins and chopped walnuts if u like that kinda stuff. go crazy.)
pour the batter into a mold (i use a 21x9.5 cm silicone mold) and bake at 180°c/350°f for about 25 minutes or so. id advice u keep an eye on it tho.
let cool and serve. u can add cream cheese frosting if u like but i myself don't. i like serving mine with ice cream tho!!!
makes 2 25cm (9in) pizzas
1 ½ cups flour
1 cup warm water
1 tsp sugar
put yeast and sugar in 1 cup of warm water. let sit for a lil while. meanwhile put the flour and salt in a bowl and mix very thoroughly. add yeast mixture. mix and knead very well. let rest for about a half hour. knead again and make into pizza shapes. u should have enough dough for two small pizzas.
many many cloves of garlic
half an onion
salt n pepper
wash and cut up them tomatoes. wash, peel and cut the onion and peel the garlic. you can toss it into the blender for a smoother sauce or throw it into the saucepan without blending for a chonkier sauce. either way you gotta throw it into a saucepan. whatever. add in all the seasonings. and butter. lots of butter. then let it cook and when it's cooked turn off the stove and add oregano.
a few bits of butter
anything u like hehe!! :]
start adding the sauce, then cheese and then all the toppings. (my personal favs r bell peppers, onion, canned corn and bacon bits). add in tiny bits of butter too cuz it gives it a nice taste. then it goes into the oven at 180°c/350°f for about 10 minutes or until it gets nice and toasty and the cheese is melted.
once it's out of the oven, u can add in some basil, extra oregano, pepper and other kinds of stuff like that for a better taste. cut into slices and serve.
