IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - We're done

We're being serious. This morning, our drummer Ty was killed in a fire. We don't wish to continue without her.

Those of us who knew her personally knew about her difficult living situation, Mitch and I offered her to stay with us multiple times, but she refused every time due to personal reasons that are frankly none of your business. Just know those very reasons ended up playing a hand in her death and we think the accident that killed her was preventable.

I can say for myself that meeting Ty really flipped my perception of the world upside-down. She was a kind, selfless soul, even when she had nothing. I really wish I could've done more for her. I wish I had met her sooner, and I wish she had made better choices. I wish the universe would've been kinder to her. I wish she had never crossed paths with some of the people who hurt her so much.

Anyway, that's all. I don't know what I'm gonna do with this page, I think I'll keep it up to preserve her memory. Drowning Jennie is no more, we're going to separate colleges anyway. I want to thank all of you. I want to thank Kelley, Bill, Joanne, Nick, Jamie, Roger, all the bands that played with us, all the bands who hate us, our parents, siblings, everyone who came to our shows and everyone who believed in us.

I advise everyone to be wise and to not be foolish. But enough about that. Keep Ty in your hearts and remember her for the awesome, kickass drummer and friend she was. And if you want to stay in touch with Mitch, Dennis or me, you can add us on our personal pages.

-Nayeli

LIVE AT KELLEY DEE'S FEB 17TH COME SEE US!!!

HEY!! We're playing a show on Tuesday February 17th at THE BEST record store/music venue in the country. That's right, we're talking about The Sawblade Vault, owned by the man himself Kelley Dee!! If you don't know who he is, then you suck, but we'll tell you anyway. He was the merch guy/roadie for Silent Temptation in the 90s and now he owns a record store in Beach Harbor. MORE IMPORTANTLY, he's like, our number one supporter. He absolutely loves our sound. And he's got the best taste in music, so that's how we know we're good.

Anyway WE'LL BE PLAYING AT HIS VENUE! The address is 524 Wharf Way. Doors open 7pm and the show's at 8. TICKETS ARE $5!!!! That's nothing. Come see us, have a good time, chat with us after the show... All that good stuff. And SAY THANKS TO KELLEY IF YOU SEE HIM! He will reward you with some crazy stories from his days as a roadie.

WE WON...

...Second place! UGH!!

Thanks to everyone who came to the Metal Meltdown Battle of the Bands and supported us. BUT YOU SHOULD'VE SUPPORTED HARDER!!! Just kidding LOL! Thank you all. Also shout-out to ROGER!!! And Nuklear Waste Killers, who totally tried to kill us, BUT FAILED!! We beat 'em up in the parking lot, and then they bought us beers as an acknowledgment of our superiority. ;) ;) ;)

Plus, rumor has it that our drummer Ty and Mason from NWK were seen flirting backstage after our fight, so we agreed to a truce, for the sake of their blossoming love. ;) ;) (WHAT? NO! WE WERE ARGUING ABOUT BASEBALL -TY)

Anyway, if you were there and took pictures, LET US KNOW!!! We'd love to see. Here's some pictures Bill and Joanne took of us.

That's all for now. We're taking the rest of the month off, but we'll be playing at Mission Amphitheater on January 29th. BE THERE OR ELSE!!!
