Tal has always been brash, loud and stubborn, always wanting things to be done her way. She's always clashed with the rest of her mellow family of pacifists and academics who wanted her to go to college and hopefully inherit the family restaurant later on in life. She did end up attending college, but far away from her family and peers.

After dropping out of the University of Pluto in 2144, Tal set off to join the Plutonian Interplanetary Force, not exactly to bring down wanted criminals, her goal was mostly to seek thrills and piss off her parents.

She befriended Kadie while they were still in college, but had a dramatic falling out during their junior year of studies. Tal resents Kadie for "going soft" and mellowing out, while Kadie resents Tal for becoming too impulsive and being inconsiderate of others. Either way, they don't see each other until Tal goes to the Terran Space Station while on a secret mission of hers.

A lab technician trainee at the biochemical lab Alexei works at. Out of the four trainees, she's the oldest of the bunch. She dyes her hair with crazy colors every so often. Born on Moon orbit, they spent a lot of their youth in space, but eventually moved to Earth to study and work, and they actually transferred to the Space Station from Main Base.

She likes to pull pranks on new coworkers and friends, which have become part of what the lab techs call “the initiation”. She was impressed by the fact that Alexei could anticipate her initiation prank when she tried to pull one on him.

A lab technician trainee at the biochemical lab Alexei works at. They have an air of mystery that they've carefully cultivated. He wears goggles everywhere, even when not handling any chemicals. Not many people have seen his eyes. Not many people know their actual name either, they think it's cool (they chose it, after all) and don't mind people knowing it but most people call them Beaker.

They’re the president of the Station Board Game Club, and likes to organize tournaments every weekend at Nel’s Diner. Alexei would like to be their friend, but finds them a bit intimidating.

A lab technician trainee at the biochemical lab Alexei works at. He enjoys playing sports and microbiology, and his ultimate goal is to have a species of microbe named after him. He's well liked among the laboratory crew, who all basically think of him as both a friend and someone they can mentor, being a young trainee and all. They nickname him Vinny.

Over the months working in the lab, he began to develop an unrequited crush on Alexei, not knowing about his telepathic abilities. He gets over it eventually, and the two of them stay friends after being confronted about it.

Diyan is Chief Geneviève's secretary and all-around assistant. He is often found roaming around the station with his telephone. Unlike his boss, he spends time on the station more than on the Main Base down on Earth.
Not much is known about his personal life, many people assume he's Martian, but he claims to be from another star system entirely. What is known about him is that he crash landed in Belarus on Earth at a young age, and had a relatively prolific career as a DJ in local clubs during the early 2120s, until later in the decade where he decided to seek various office-related jobs.
