This barely qualifies as a recipe. It's just something I like to make for dinner during late nights where I'm craving the texture of pasta but no particular flavors.
Makes one servingStart preparing your pasta according to the package instructions or however you like it. In the meantime, chop the onion into thin slices. Crush and slice the garlic as well.
Strain the pasta and place the pot or saucepan back on the heat. Add the butter and when it melts, throw in the onions and garlic. Let cook until translucent and fragrant.
Throw in a splash of water and with a spatula scrape any brown bits that might be stuck to the bottom of the pot. Lower the heat and add in your pasta, stirring until everything is tossed and incorporated. Sprinkle in some pepper and serve in the same pot because it's midnight and you simply can't be bothered to do dishes.
